Mission Purpose – To bring compassionate care and the message of the Gospel to the people of Campeche, Mexico.
Mission History: This will be the second mission trip to Campeche, Mexico. To date, HHMM has conducted 57 missions to this region of the world. Over 1370 missionaries have attended to the needs of over 59,000 patients. Additionally, over 4800 people have received dental care and 974 major surgeries.
The overall impact has been positive, we have been able to develop good relationships with local church and other local officials. Our future plans include continuing to build the mission and to offer medical students an opportunity to serve on a mission during spring break.
Local Needs – The mission setting is both Urban and rural. Local maladies include: Hypertension, diabetes, respiratory and gastric infections, skin diseases, etc.
Additional Items needed – Medications, wheelchairs, crutches, and other medical equipment. These items are needed to ship two months ahead of the mission.

Surgical: This is a non-surgical mission.

- Family Medicine Providers (Physicians, Physician Assistants (PA's), Nurse Practitioners (NP’s)
- Dentistry: Dentists and Dental Hygienists
- Optometrists
- Pharmacists and pharmacy Techs
- Nursing: RN’s and LVN’s
- Physical Therapist and Chiropractor
- Counseling
- Natural Family Planning Instructors
- Non-medical volunteers
- Spanish Translators

Requirements
Prerequisites
- ALL missionaries must complete HHMM application
- All adults need to submit proof of up-to-date Virtus/Safe Environment
- All adults need to submit a Background Check
- Valid Passport - expiration date must be 6 months after trip return date
- Licensed Medical Providers ONLY: must provide an apostille copy of your license and CV
Responsibilities
- Am I ready to live in a place with only cold water in which to shower?
- Can I sleep on the floor, in a sleeping bag, or on a mattress?
- Am I ready for long days of hard work?
- Am I committed to serving others and following a program that is pre-arranged for me?
- Am I healthy enough to participate in a program that may be physically demanding?
- Am I ready to merge into other cultures by being flexible and patient in dealing with unexpected inconveniences?
- Am I willing to fundraise for my trip to help those less fortunate?
Preparation
- Complete and Upload Virtus/Safe Environment Training
- Complete and Upload Passport Information
- Make Flight Arrangements
- Take necessary vaccines
- Share your missionary page with family and friends to raise funds for the mission.
